One of the things we noticed was different with the application's pages was the ability to type anywhere on the pages. It automatically created a text box at the point where we started typing, unlike MS Word where we had to insert a text box where we wanted.

Pros: I just tried this tool and it does work in my Windows 7 64-bit PC. If it doesn't work in yours, try making the EXE have Administrator privileges. OR, maybe your Security software needs to grant it permission. Being that it is PORTABLE, this may be why it doesn't work for yours system.
Cons: This tool is SIMPLE info and as far as I can tell, it does nothing really special that Windows Task Manager does. I would not rate this with 5 stars.

Other Thoughts: As an experienced developer with many years of programming behind, I can say that I just found the best SQL freeware. Thank you FreewareFiles and more than this, Thank You, the developers of HeidiSQL. I'm switching to this now and I will also make a donation.

More than that, it also supports ALAC which stands for Apple Lossless Audio Codec. Additionally, not having to install other audio codecs to play all those formats mentioned is also a great feature. It lets you enjoy high-quality audio in different formats on your computer. Best of all, it's free to use.
The M4A Player features loop playback which loops all audio files that you add to your list. That means you don't have to hit play again once all your songs or audio files have been played.
Another great feature of the M4A is that you can use shortcuts called hotkeys. These are very simple commands that will help you navigate your player to perform simple functions.

On opening Zotero, you're presented with three panes - the left-hand pane is where you list your collections, the items in a selected collection will be listed in the center pane and all your citation information, tags and notes are available the right-hand pane.Zotero recognizes the content of your web browser and lets you add it to your library, to which you can also add other files including PDFs, images, and audio and video media. Editor's RatingAIMP is a sophisticated but free music player that you can use to perform other functions that you would otherwise accomplish using separate programs. For example, you can use it as an audio recorder, converter, a tag editor and even scheduler.
Installing AIMPThe process of installing AIMP was straightforward. It gave us the option to install it to our Windows system or use it as a portable program from our chosen drive and folder. The easy-to-follow instructions allowed us to integrate the MP3 player to Windows context menu even when we chose the portable option.
Using AIMP
The player displayed a relatively simple user interface featuring a dark theme, which we could change. Immediately to the top right side of the main program window was an equalizer window.
Equalizer
The equalizer included 22 presets that we could select from or adjust the bars manually to make our own preferred setting. We could also let the player auto-adjust equalizer preset for a track. The window included a preamp level adjuster and speaker balance slide bar. We could choose to display the equalizer window on the left side of the main player window or tu it off.

"Tons of great, useful, features for programmers"

Pros: This program is packed with features, one of the first you will notice is that it has a fully featured file explorer (only available as plug-in in Notepad++), it also has file templates for tons of file types, if features really nice syntax highlighting, themes (I like the Charcoal dark slate), split document view, macros, scripts, integrated web browser preview (IE & Chrome based), there are too many additional features to list.
Cons: The interface was a bit overwhelming at first and some of the items didn't show a tool tip on mouse over for some reason. I used the portable version and it was a bit slow to load up, but, once it gets going things move right along. I didn't see any plug-in or extension support, maybe I missed it though.
Other Thoughts: I have had an on again, off again relationship with Notepad++. I stop using it when I get frustrated over simple things like needing a plug-in to do things like manage files. I worked with RJ TextEd for a couple of hours writing a web form with HTML5, CSS, and PHP, all in separate files. The transition between documents was quic

Using WinUSBWe launched WinUSB directly from the downloaded executable file since it was a portable application. Double-clicking the file opened a simple graphical user interface that was primarily divided into two sections. A small pane on the left side contained links for accessing the official site, user guide, EULA or getting Windows ISO. The working area covered the remaining part of the application window.
We started by selecting the USB flash drive that we wanted to make multi-bootable. We needed to use a drive that had at least 4 GB of free space. When we had more than one flash drive coected to our computer, the program listed them in a combo box where we selected the one that we wanted. In addition to the drive letter, the program displayed the total and free spaces of each USB stick and its file format.

Using WifiHistoryViewWifiHistoryView is a portable application that runs directly from its saved location. The lightweight application even works from exteal storage devices, which enables you to use it on multiple computers.
The application displayed different wireless details in separate columns, including Event Time, Event Type and Network Adapter Name among others. It displayed the total number of detected items on the lower left coer of its user interface. Editor's RatingReviewed on February 02, 2017A simple program that allows you to safely dual boot Windows and Linux on your system is Grub2Win. You can use it to boot ISO files directly or select from various OS choices.
Using Grub2WinThe green-themed setup screen let us select the target drive and choose whether or not to create a desktop shortcut. A progress box allowed us to view the setup process. We could delete the install directory after the setup completed successfully.
The main configuration screen let us set up the way we wanted the software to work. Some of the things that we could do included:
Managing EFI partition modules
Setting EFI firmware boot order
Setting the grub timeout seconds and Windows boot timeout seconds
Selecting the default OS, theme, graphics mode and locale language
The "Manage Boot Menu" button on the lower part of the window enabled us to add our OS selections. Only Windows OS appeared by default, and we needed to add Linux systems manually. We then clicked the "OK" button to complete the installation.

Editor's RatingIf you want a simple way for people in your organization to lea from databases as they ask questions, then Metabase is right for you. The Java-based, open-source tool is designed to help average users handle and share information in data-centric companies with relative ease.
Using MetabaseYou need at least Java 6 installed on your system to use Metabase. The software works well with both Oracle JDK and OpenJDK. We downloaded and saved the JAR file on a folder from where we ran the application.
We opened a terminal and launched it using the "java -jar metabase.jar" command. Log entries started ruing in the terminal window as the application launched, and a confirmation appeared once it had fully started. Its server was launched on port 3000, but we could use a different port by making configurations before ruing the application.
We then set up Metabase and coected it to our database. The first time that we started the application, it displayed a welcome screen with a brief message and button marked "Let's get started".

MTS video files are high definition digital video camera AVCHD (Advanced Video Coding High Definition) formatted videos. AVCHD is the optical disc compression technology used in high quality capable professional level camcorders for high definition MPEG-4/H AVC.264 video encoding. It supports both Dolby Digital 5.1-chael AC-3 and PCM7.1 audio compression and, since its introduction, has been steadily increasing in popularity due to the growing demand for high definition video.
The MTS Player for Windows requires no additional video codecs to play .mts, .m2ts, and .m2t files. The free video player is easy to use and by far the most convenient way to view and enjoy MTS files.
Download and install the application to open the streamlined wide screen graphical user interface. The Windows menu bar for the 'File', 'Playback' and 'Help' menus is at the top and, like any other video player, the video start, stop and pause and progress time bars are located at the bottom.
